About the Author
Ariel Guttman has been involved with the study of astrology since 1974. �In 1980 she founded an astrological consulting firm, Astro Originals, through which astrological seminars, personal and business consulting, astrological teaching and lecturing are conducted. �For several years she has been involved with asteroid research, and by including those asteroids in her astrological work, has found a growing interest in this, "the feminine" aspects of astrology. �She has lectured for numerous astrological organizations and conferences both in the United States and in Europe. Kenneth Johnson holds a degree in Religious Studies from California State University Fullerton. His emphasis was in the study of mythology and this interest is reflected in his writing and his astrological practice. Kenneth discovered astrology while traveling in Europe during the summer of 1973. He studied in Amsterdam and London before returning to the United States and developing a practice which focuses on archetypal themes and personal mythologies. In addition to his astrological interests, Kenneth is also a musical theater librettist and a member of the Dramatists Guild. ~

An antidote for more shallow interpretations

This book is a perfect antidote to overly simplistic, "cookie-cutter", astrology books. This is because it delves into the deep mythological symbolism behind the planets and signs. It is an excellent reference for fleshing-out a written horoscope with more than the basics. This isn't a book that is going to teach you how to cast a horoscope, however, it will help you to interpret a horoscope in terms of the deep archetypical patterns and currents for which the stars and planets are merely visible markers.
Indeed, this book goes beyond providing mere historical details and trivia, it is a starting place for deep meditation on the underlieing meaning in a chart.

This wonderful book marries mythology with astrology in a clear concise readable tapestry. I've had my copy for 2 yrs now and I still refer to it and learn from it. It manages to explain both mythology and astrology in one effortless read. I'm constantly recommending it and lending it out to others who usually end up searching out their own copies. It's a must for anyone who enjoys reading their daily horoscope. This is an excellent book that ties in syncretically, astrology, the planets, the Gods and Goddesses for whom the planets are named and many of the myths relating to them and indiviual signs. In short, it is one of the few concise, deep accounts of archetypal astrology that I have read. The authors also pull a lot from depth psychology and the work of Carl Jung. It is an absolute MUST for any serious student of Astrology! You don't have to go out and buy a big book on Hellenic Mythology, just keep this and within it is all you need to know!

I bought this book with every intention of reading it on my flight next week. Mistakenly, I figured, I'd read a little of the first chapter. Two hours later, I'm halfway done with entire book. It's well written and engaging. Must read if you're GREENWALL.

Being a fan of OpTic Gaming for many years, it is really awesome to finally see their biggest members share their stories. Whether you are into video games or not, this book is a great read simply because it is not just about video games but it's also about their personal lives and how they have been changed by competitive gaming. I have learned a lot about these authors that I had never known before. While many might not think a book about eSports and video games would be interesting, there are a lot of struggles each of these people had to go through in order to become the successful organization that they are today.

In this memoir, playwright and professor Machado (Kissing Fidel) tells the story of his family's escape from Cuba and their assimilation into the U.S. Although his tale features a familiar triumph-over-adversity storyline, it distinguishes itself in descriptions of Cuban delicacies, complete with recipes. Recalling a hasty dinner of swordfish escabeche enjoyed in the midst of the Revolution, he writes, "Something about looking down at a golden slab, cutting into the thick flesh... made the meal feel like a luxury." To better share the tastes of home, the author studs the book with recipes for favorites like Roast Pork, heady with garlic and citrus, and Biztec Empanizado, a tropical country-fried steak that's surprisingly light. Though the vivid food writing captivates, the memoir can drag in long reporterly passages, and rankles with a few too many glib assessments: "The shock of dad's departure was that it changed how we understood the very concept of family." Nevertheless, the luxuriant descriptions of family meals, and the obvious joy Machado takes in recounting them, make this memoir a tasty read.

Self-Absorbed and Annoying

I have read many Cuban exile memoirs as well as those of Polish, Russian and other exiles groups. I also have several cookbook/memoirs about "old Cuba." This memoir is really one of the most irritating of the lot. Mr Machado goes on and on about loving his homeland and yearning for the taste of its food etc. That is fine. But he also goes on and on about his issues with his family - especially about his resentment towards his parents for sending him as a "Peter Pan" child to the US (Operation Peter Pan was a way for Cuban parents to send their unaccompanied children out of Cuba under the auspices of Catholic charities. This was at a time when parents in Cuba believed that their children would be rounded up and shipped to the Soviet Union to be "re-educated." Out of desperation, they were willing to send their children and then hoped to follow them). Mr Machado at one point rants about how they sent him and his 5 yr old brother just so they could make sure he grew up the way they thought he should. Well, one would wonder at any parent who willingly separated from their child for any other reason except to save them from a fate they viewed as horrible. This is just one example of a general trend to make rather vicious statements about his family, the US govt., other Cuban exiles (especially in Miami) and anyone else that disagrees with his view. It wasn't that gripping a memoir and the it wasn't really a great food related book. I would say that if you want a better Cuban exile memoir, try Pablo Medina's Exiled Memories or Gustavo Perez-Firmat's Next Year in Cuba. And if you really want have a useful cookbook that includes lots of memories and background flavor, then try A Taste of Old Cuba by Maria Josefa Lluria de O'Higgins or Memories of a Cuban Kitchen by Mary Urrutia Randelman. Both are excellent and authentic and filled with family photos and stories. Oh and the Nitza Villapol book(Cocina Criolla or Cocina al Minuto)from the 1950's which Mr Machado mentions is readily available in reprints -- you don't have to go secretly to Cuba and look in a second hand book stall.

Emotional and Inspiring True Life Story - And Some Good Recipes Too

The author had me hooked from page one. The writing is excellent, and my only complaint is the fact that the author included Cuban recipes in the main text of the book - it was a little bit distracting, and would have been more useful if the recipes were all in one place, at the end of the book.

However, the story that Eduardo Machado tells is wonderful, detailed and rich with memory about his Cuban childhood, and the significance that familiar foods and traditions have in our lives, especially for those who can't go home. For some American immigrants, the home country is part of their lives - they can fly back home easily, knowing that things will be the way they left them; friends will still be there, and so will most of their relatives.

For refugees, the situation is different - they know they can never go back home, and the new country is their home country. Machado's longing for food and all that is familiar will ring true to any reader who has experienced a life-altering situation, one in which things will never be the same as they were before. I completely understand the author's fascination and near-obsession with the details of food, spices and aromas.

The author's description of the downtown Los Angeles Grand Central Market is so accurate, and I have been told by many people that visiting this open-air market for the first time made them feel like they were back home again. I highly recommend this book.

Half good, half garbage

The first half of this book was very enjoyable and exactly what I expected, in a good way. The point of view of a child leaving the land that he loves to be planted in a strange place with different food, different weather, different landscape and different language is touching and very real-to-life, typical of early exile (early 1960's)children. The inclusion of Cuban recipes was perfect as much of the Cuban culture is centered around food.

Once he turns 15 years old, the book turns to crap. The writing seems completely different and the storyteller turns bitter and whiny and ungrateful. And the part where he goes to Cuba and is actually sympathizing with the communists? Seriously? Talk about ungrateful...makes me wish he HAD stayed in Communist Cuba so he could have lived miserably like the average person there...NOT like his visit where he could eat where and what he wanted and had liberal access to food, cigars, drinks, etc. NOT even like Gladys, who obviously had SOME privileges (keeping a house that wasn't hers, being allowed to run a paladar, having access to good food to feed patrons, etc.) Makes me wonder who SHE had to sleep with to get all of that. Anyway, if you are looking to enjoy a book that ties memories of Cuba with food, then the first half of the book is fine. The second half can be literally torn out of the book.

For your very best friends

I saw this book and thought it would be such a great birthday present for my best friend - I know she will appreciate the thought and sentiment that I’m planning to put into it. I ordered it early so there would be plenty of time to come up with thoughtful answers for the questions (I’ve got till January!) This book is really cute - even though I paid attention to the dimensions I was still surprised at how small it was. It’s just hard to imagine such a little book. It is about the size of the palm of my hand.

There are some fun prompts in this book although they do seem a little repetitive, so you’ll have to be thoughtful to fill out this book without giving the same answers for multiple prompts. The prompts are pretty open ended too, so you can be creative with your responses. For example: “you ___ the best ___ ever” or “I am so ___ that ___” could be filled in with so many different answers. I also like that the pages have a lot of blank space so I can write long answers or additional memories on the page if I want to. I’m going to enjoy filling out this book, and I’m sure my friend will love it. If you’ve got a sentimental best friend of your own, I’d recommend giving this book a try.

For anyone who loves thoughtful.

Some of the questions seem repetitive and it can be tough to come up with clever answers. I'm in my 30's and my best friend in her 40's and she LOVED it and sent me these photos as she went through it with jokes about what I'd written. For someone who enjoys thoughtful gifts that take a little time I recommend it, especially if you can play with your answers a bit. It would be nice if it had other things more related to memories you share, but it was still fine. I also cut out a few little pictures and taped them inside for fun.

Brought a kid lots of smiles and a mom some happy tears.

I bought this gift for a nine year old boy that I work with. I regularly tell him how awesome he is, because he is the absolutely coolest kid I've ever met. I felt that for his birthday, I would let him in on why I think he's so awesome, and this book perfectly fit the bill. I spent a lot of time carefully thinking of clever or nostalgic lines to write in the book; I even typed up all 50 reasons and my responses on my computer so I could think each one one over. When I surprised him with the book on his birthday, he had a smile ear to ear while reading every entry; it even made his mom cry (happy tears of course). The real genius of the book is that it forces you to think back on your relationship with your recipient, and hopefully brings a smile to your face as you think of and remember how great that person really is.

Fantastic book on how to train smarter & achieve results

The Great Cardio Myth is a no nonsense guide to smarter and efficient training. Craig Ballantyne sets the record straight and debunks the cardio myths that have been around for so long.

I walked into the weights room at university for the first time 10 years after purchasing the Turbulence Training programme by Craig. As a female in my early 20s I was very intimidated on that first day but it's where I belong now! I can't stand long boring steady state cardio and have followed HIIT style workouts since then also. I was previously doing 1-2 hours of cardio at a time with minimal results! (As a student I had a lot more time on my hands) . It was like I finally awoke in a gym full of mindless exercisers! Goodbye cross trainer, hello shorter workouts with better results.

What I love about this book is that it is Evidenced Based - as a Registered Dietitian my nutrition advice must be the same for my patients. The studies are broken down into easy to understand nuggets of information saving us the work of going through lots of studies. Thanks Craig!

There is an increasing trend of self proclaimed nutrition 'gurus' on social media sites from bloggers to Insta celebs to reality stars with minimal nutrition education dishing out advice. I found it refreshing that the advice on nutrition in this book was simple and straight forward. I was so glad the book did not end with an overly restrictive punishing diet! A very good place for people to start is setting realistic goals with diet and exercise and building on them each week. Craig endorses a sensible approach to eating whole food & on improving the quality of your diet. Dietary and lifestyle changes need to be sustainable long term and the great cardio myth provides a template for both smarter training and healthy eating without being extreme. I highly recommend this book to anyone with an interest in fitness and getting results.

Highly Recommended for those looking to get in the best shape of their life, trainers and strength coaches.

Craig has been a leader in the fitness industry and an innovator in fat loss programming since the debut of Turbulence Training in 2001. Over the course of the next 16 years he has continued to innovate and improve his programs to best suit the needs of the busy lifestyles many lead today. This book is for anyone looking for effective fat loss and strength training programs with the knowledge and research to back it up.

You have to read this book!

I have this nasty habit of starting to read one book, while I've already got another (or few) on the go. At the end of the year there were a bunch of books announced that I really wanted to get, so I pre-ordered them, and they all started arriving within a few days of each other. So I've got 4 books on the go right now, but I put 3 of them down to read this one when it arrived. I haven't finished it yet, as I only have a few minutes each day available to read, right before I go to sleep. I'm past the halfway point now though, and I've learned a lot!

The Great Cardio Myth, by Craig Ballantyne is great for anyone who has been struggling with weight and with spending hours sweating at the gym on the machines with no results and can't figure out why; it's great for personal trainers who are teaching their clients the "old way" of calories in/calories out, and you gotta do hours of cardio each week to stay fit. Or for people like me who like myth busting. :)

I know a lot about food and what it does to our bodies when we eat it. I've been studying and learning about food and nutrition since late 2008. But I didn't know a whole lot about physical fitness until I started following Craig Ballantyne and doing his Turbulence Training exercise program about 2 or 3 years ago.

I've had 3 surgeries that have cut my abdominal muscles and caused some scar tissue under the surface, it makes it look lumpy, and fat gets trapped there between the muscle and scarring. I *never* thought I'd be able to build that muscle back up again, I had tried the "old" way with cardio and sit ups and crunches. But that just doesn't work. When I started Turbulence Training, I built muscle, and was able to see my abs through the scar tissue!

Your body composition is about 80% what you eat. 10% how much and what you do to move it, and 10% genetics. If you're feeding yourself nothing but manufactured convenience foods and McD's, you can't out exercise that. It is just not possible.

You should read this book, buy yourself a copy, or pick one up at the library. If they don't have it, ask them to buy it! You wont regret it!

Really liked all the color photos

I was interested in learning about how shoes are made and decided to check out this book. This book really gave me the inside scoop I haven't seen a book that takes you inside a real shoe factory.

The book talks about shoe design and patterns and all the tooling needed to make shoes. Really liked all the color photos. The book is packed with technical terms and information. I really like this book, I found it very helpful!

Great introduction to product design and manufacturing

Interesting look into how shoes are made. Includes details that would be important for designers but also a great introduction to product design, manufacturing and distribution.

Not worth it.

While there is some good information in this book, it is not worth the $40 asking price. As a product developer looking to expand my knowledge base I found this book to be only somewhat helpful, to miss important things in some places, and to be simply wrong in others.

If you are writing a book on shoe design and development and you chose to include information about costing and import, then it is important to know that FOB means "Free On Board" not "Freight on Board" as the author states, and to know that FOB is the cost of a good up to the point where it passes the threshold of a shipping vessel at its port of origin, not "the price of the shoe, plus delivery in a shipping container to the port of entry in the USA." If you are in product development, this is pretty standard stuff that you should know. Getting information like this wrong is quite egregious and severely damages the book's credibility.

There are also plenty of things not covered in this book, or just glanced over. While the focus of the book is clearly on sneakers and athletic shoes, none of the most important tends of recent design are mentioned, such as the use of monofilament meshes, welded overlays, and newer foam compounds/foam additives.

Finally, overall the writing is fairly poor. The author's repetition of the same sentence within a paragraph, and sequential paragraphs that say effectively the same thing (often in the same words) are consistently irritating. Much worse than that is the atrocious copy editing - words that clearly have been auto-corrected and are wrong, poor punctuation, etc. If you are charging $40 for your book, then the execution really has to be top-notch. This is not.

Despite my overall negative impression of the book, I will certainly admit that I did learn a few things by reading it. The problem is that I had to wade through 250 pages in order to glean what amounts to 30-40 pages of good information (plus a decent glossary at the back).

The yoke theory was created by the court German historians of the new Russian dynasty, the Romanovs. It has served the end of justifying the Romanovs’ claims for the throne and demonising their longtime adversaries – the Horde, or the professional Russian army, which remained fiercely loyal to the old Russian dynasty, deposed and finally destroyed by the Romanovs as a result of a conspiracy. The savage invaders and torturers of the Russian land that we read about in history textbooks were the protectors of the state in reality – and ethnic Slavs for the most part. Small wonder historians still cannot find a single trace of the mythical Mongol capital – no such capital ever existed anywhere near the Gobi Desert.
The Mongol Horde identified as the Russian army are extremely hard to swallow for any Russian, yet they are just the tip of the iceberg called New Chronology, which is a radical reconstruction of world history in general and a brainchild of Anatoly Fomenko, one of today’s leading mathematicians and by all means a scientist to be taken seriously. His sensational fundamental work entitled History: Fiction or Science? is finally available in English – the ice-cold facts and the rock-hard scientific evidence concealed underneath that glossy cover portraying Jesus pinioned to the Big Ben can, and eventually will, sink the entire paper fleet of consensual history.

Dr Fomenko et al as scientists are ready to recognize the alleged mistakes of New Chronology, to repent and to retract if and only if:
- radiocarbon dating methods or dendrochronology pass the black box' tests;
- astronomy refutes their results on eclipses;
- Robert Newton (US astrophisist) was wrong accusing Ptolemy of swindle.
At present historians are not willing to comply. The radiocarbon dating labs run their very costly tests only if is the sample to be dated is accompanied with an idea of age pronounced by historians on basis of...subjective..mmm...gutfeeling and the history books they have been writing for the last 400 years. Radiocarbon labs politely bill for their fiddling and finetuning with C14 to get the dates 'to order' of historians. Circulus viciousus is perfect.

When Russians Ruled the World

For those who don't know what these books are (ie. most people who aren't Russian) you're looking at the dry scholarly tomes of a mathematician who decided he didn't care for the minor role of Russia in ancient and early medieval history and decided that this meant all history must be all wrong. Now I'm not dissing the Russians here. These ideas were rightly dismissed by Russian experts decades ago and, except for the occasional eccentric mathematician and celebrity, they receive little attention now. That's why he's searching for a new audience: his books have sold just about as much as they ever will in Russia. Time to release them in English. Because if there's one thing an English audience loves reading it's Russian propaganda.

These books are a statistician's attempt to combat established history using page after endless page of charts and diagrams in the hope that people won't actually check through all these figures. At twenty-two volumes in length it's a fairly safe bet, even though these books are extremely short. But what's really amazing is how little digging it actually takes to find the repeated and obvious errors in his work. The man is so certain that he must be right that he sees no problem with forcibly altering the facts to fit his "theory" or accepting huge margins of error when seeking a parallelism.

You don't even have to wait for the book to begin for the errors to creep in. The title alone presents a false dichotomy. Fiction or Science? As if those are the only two options. And I have no doubt that Fomenko does indeed see it that way given his haughty dismissal of anything even loosely connected to the Arts. History is too close to the Arts and must be purged of anything that isn't a string of exact, quantifiable numbers. All similar number strings must be combined into the same string, and any "facts" or "historical personages" attached to those numbers must be purged as well. Nice, clean math. But it's more disturbing than just that. These books are a vast horde of Russian nationalic propaganda. Apart from ridiculing any non-Scientists (AKA those unqualified to form proper conclusions) the main goal of these books is to establish that Russia ruled all the world from North America through Europe into China and the Middle East, and they did so for most of recorded history. So his two assumptions about the world are:
1. All Non-Scientists are either liars or idiots.
2. Everything in the world originated in Russia.

One of these two assumptions is underlying every single one of his conclusions. He treats his random and unsupported speculations with just as much respect as ones that have been established through years of research backed by hard evidence. All Arts and Humanities subjects are regarded as worthless as sources of information and aren't even worth mentioning unless to state (not argue or prove) that they are wrong.

And now the history of the world as outlined in this book: History begins when Andronicos Comnenos dies and becomes Jesus. History records him as an unsuccessful Greek emperor with no real successes who was beaten to death by the mob and not a poor prophet from Nazareth who was crucified but hey, what do they know. It's not like the crucifixion was an important part of the story or anything. Immediately all of Europe decides that they're Christian and march against the Muslims. It may sound confusing why they'd blame the Muslims for what was an internal coup but they were probably just confused because Mohammed wasn't born yet. At some point they changed their minds and decided to skip the first three crusades and jump straight onto the Fourth (except that they didn't. It was actually the same as the First. Obviously. Please try and keep up). They then sacked Constantinople which was also Rome which was Troy which was Jerusalem. At some point they get confused and occupied the Holy Land as well and then forget all about Constantinople and let it fall back to the Greeks since Jerusalem was now Constantinople which was Troy which was Rome. People back then had very short memories often forgetting why they did something before they even did it. This is probably due to their lack of statisticians. During the First Crusade the Greeks decide to avenge the kidnapping of their queen by... also sacking Constantinople. After sacking their own city they quietly vanish for a few years, probably in embarrassment. Some time later Erasmus wrote the New Testament confusing generations of scholars who wondered what they had been copying out for all that time. Having now written a New Testament it was decided that they needed an Old one. I'm sure the reasons for the reversed order are as obvious to everyone else as they are to Fomenko. Some time in the 15th Century David rose up, except that he was Turkish and ruled in Constantinople. Despite the many wars with the Turks Europe had never warred with the Turks and accepted all of these events as holy writ. After all, the Turks were really Russian in funny hats and the Russians ruled the world. The Byzantines were secretly ruling in England. After the death of Solomon (Suleimon) the Jews split off from Christianity because they were tired of not being persecuted because of something they didn't do and decided that being hunted by the Inquisition was more fun. In the confusion the Catholics and Orthodox Christians split apart as well because everyone else was doing it and it seemed a good idea at the time. They were to regret this later when the Catholics sacked their city but that had already happened so it was fine.

It turns out that Russia has dominated the world since the earliest recorded history (what a shock!). The Mongols were not from Mongolia because the people there are nothing but worthless servants of the Russian Empire (it's ok. Fomenko assures us that the Mongols never knew of Genghis Khan until some pesky monks told them that they used to rule the world). Russia was actually the major Empire that the Romans were based off of and has existed since the dawn of civilization. Silly Georgians thinking they are anything but the personal property of Russia! Ha ha. They also controlled America, Europe and North Africa by 1300 so I guess that we should all submit to the Russian yoke as is our hereditary duty. Occasionally a czar would allow the governors of Europe (kings hah!) to wage war on each other if they pleased him. Presumably the English sucked up to him better than France which is why they did so well in the Hundred Years War but then lost his favor again which resulted in the French winning. Joan of Arc was probably the czar's sister or something. The czar could summon anyone to his court and they had to obey which is why Moscow is renowned the world over as being filled with better artwork and architecture than such dives as Paris and Rome (which isn't the REAL Rome after all). After Russia fell in the 1600s (through internal troubles. No one could EVER conquer Russians) the rest of the world immediately conspired to hide that they ever existed lest they should try to rule over them again. Thus they erased this empire from the history books and replaced it with such lies as Rome and the Holy Roman Empire (couldn't they even pick a new name? Obvious!). Thus the treacherous Romanovs rose to power (did I mention that he first published this under the Soviets?) and they too decided to forget there had ever been a Russian Empire of such a scale. Many "Roman" documents are simply Russian ones with a few name changes. Latin is merely a corrupted form of church Slavonic, despite bearing no similarity to that language. The Russians probably invented it to confuse future generations of schoolkids. They had after all had it engraved all over the southern part of their empire on specific styles of buildings which they immediately buried and built medieval cities on top of to confuse archaeologists. It never showed up in Russia itself. Perhaps they punished the provinces by making them write everything in Latin. Oh those cruel Russians. After the late 18th Century things begin to return to what is normally called history.

As you can see it is far less confusing than the 'conventional' timeline. You might think I'm making this up but that is what you get when you put all his history together. Minus the sarcasm perhaps.

By the third book focusing exclusively on Russian history you may be starting to catch on to the idea that maybe making Russia look great is the purpose of this entire series. Congratulations: you can recognize patterns. Fomenko seems to think he's the only one capable of this. So this book continues to tell his story of Russian history. The Byzantines (Russians) collapsed unexpectedly from the fallout of that whole Jesus thing and each state immediately established its own version of history, which they nonetheless managed to keep separate and internally consistent. In Mongolia (Russia) the Horde (Russians) were disorganized and took years to recover from this. Although, as the center of all human civilization, they still managed to receive Byzantine empresses in marriage. Oh, and all European nobility is descended from Augustus. A random claim about a man whose entire line died out within a few generations but whatever.

I'm not even going to bother going into too much depth here. Unless you know a lot of Russian history you won't know who I'm talking about anyway. Suffice it to say that every early Russian ruler was in fact one of the great Mongolian khans, starting with Georgi (Genghis). Tedious stuff for me, but maybe a Russian historian would find it more entertaining. This is actually as far as I'm going with the Russian ones. No fewer than seven of these books (almost a third) are detailing Russian history, and while that's fine and dandy for a Russian nationalist pseudohistorian it's pretty boring for someone outside Russia.

Occam's razor: among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected. Occam's razor does not seek to offer complete and absolute proof, but to find the simplest probable answer to a question of why an event happened. Dr Fomenko et al applied this razor rule to Mongolia to find out that Mongols didn't know in mid-XIXcy just how great they were once or who Mr Ghengis was. Moreover, Mongolia was a label for the 'ancient' Great Horde Empire that spread through XII-XVIcy colonizing most of Eurasia from Pacific to Atlantic. Horde fell into pieces due to Great Strife of mid-XVIcy. The 'mongol' invasions of Horde took place to punish rebellious fiefdoms that tried to break away, or worse stopped to pay taxes. They found that the 'mongol' myth was injected into russian history by german historians Schleizer, Meier et al imported to Russia by czar Peter I.

Pseudohistory as exact science

When the clergy took over the control of Chronology in XVIcy it was a part of mathematics. Saint Augustine warned: 'be wary of mathematicians, particularly when they speak the truth !' Prescient. Today the mathematicians took it back and checked it. The scientific approach to the World History with ways and means of exact sciences shows: all real events that took place over 1200 years ago as well as people who allegedly acted in them are simply unknown to us and will stay so forever. Ancient Egypt, Europe, Rome, China, India, etc..etc histories are figmental prior to that date. Home sapiens could neither read nor write at that time. That was prehistory. Everything told to us about pre-1200 years ago events is fiction. Human 'civilization' had yet to be worked out. Civilization started its relentless progress in 800 A.D., developed its major features like writing, communications, religions and & arts, centralized civil and military management approx. by 1000 A.D. That was 'ancient' history. Nearly nothing is about this period known for sure. 'Antiquity ' is label applied to figmental events and people that allegedly lived prior to 800 A.D, but actually happened in 1000 A.D.– 1500 A.D. All written, artistic, even architectural artifacts presented as being older than 1200 years are found upon scrutiny either as machinations and falsifications performed by the white and black clergy, artists, architects, sculptors during 1400 A.D. - 2000 A.D. or misinterpretations and misdatings of events taking place in 1000 A.D.– 1500 A.D.

Issues with the mainstream Word History : there are no chronicles irrefutably proven to be older than 1400 A.D. Subjective methods of dating documents and/or artifacts used arbitrarily, the objective methods of dating evaded. The famous radiocarbon-14C dating method lost its precision due to numerous nuclear tests in 1945-1964 and doesn't stand the black box test (alleged age of sample to test has to be told first. Sic !). Radiocarbon-14C initial calibration was made on samples from 'ancient' Egypt, the age of samples was set arbitrarily. Astronomy contradicts consensual history. Ptolemy is reliably datable to XVI cy. All solar and lunar eclipses described in chronicles dated prior to XVIcy to stress the importance of events and people acting in them actually never took place in locations at moments of time therein indicated. 6000 years long Chinese History is even more bogus than European . It is high time for the mainstream historians to stop bickering and to re-start the world history as science. Genetics re-started that already .
